The bot in short

@Voice_TTSBot is the Telegram bot of TTS Maker (ttsmaker.in). You send it text and it replies with the speech as an MP3 file, using 318 free Microsoft voices in 74 languages or premium voices from ElevenLabs, Gemini and Cappy.

The free voices allow 200,000 characters a day. A text message can be up to 4,096 characters; longer text goes in as a file. Plans are paid by UPI, card or netbanking through Razorpay, or Telegram Stars.

Questions, answered

Telegram bot FAQ

Is the Telegram text to speech bot free?

Yes. The Microsoft voices are free for up to 200,000 characters a day, and a new account starts with 5,000 welcome credits for the premium voices. ElevenLabs and Cappy voices cost 1 credit per character and Gemini voices 2.

How long can one message be?

Telegram delivers text messages of up to 4,096 characters. For anything longer, save the text as a TXT file (or send the EPUB, PDF, DOCX or TXT file itself) and the bot treats it as a document to read aloud, up to 20 MB.

Do I need to use the website as well?

No. The bot works on its own. If you do open ttsmaker.in, log in with Telegram and you will see the same credits, voices and history there, because it is one account.

Can the bot speak Hindi?

Yes. Open Voices, choose Hindi and pick a voice. Send the text in Devanagari so that the words are pronounced correctly. The bot has voices for all the languages the website has.

How do I pay for credits in the bot?

Send /buy and choose a plan. Plans are paid by UPI, card or netbanking through Razorpay, or Telegram Stars. The credits are added as soon as the payment goes through, and they work on the website too.

What does the bot keep?

Your Telegram user ID, name and username, which Telegram shares when you press Start; the first 140 characters of each text, so you can recognise it in your history; and the audio files for 30 days. The privacy policy has the full list.
